The need for strengthening existing QA and accreditation systems to improve the quality of education both in HE and VET was identified in all CA countries. The aim of this meeting is to support the process of professionalisation and modernisation of education in the region by sharing EU expertise in Quality Assurance (QA) and Accreditation, facilitating policy dialogue at national level and exploring opportunities for development in the field in Tajikistan. The participation of high-level officials from the Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Labour, Migration and Employment and EU delegation is expected. QA experts from Latvia, Poland and Italy are participating.
The topics will be discussed in two sessions. Session 1 is called: “Standards and guidelines for quality assurance and Accreditation in the European Higher Education Area (ESG) – Latest Trends and Challenges”. It will include presentations and discussions on:

As a result of the meeting a series of conclusions and recommendations will be drawn and topics for CAEP QA and accreditation Peer Learning Approach will be identified.
